For the opening ceremony of the new SMART car the interactive livepainting tool was in the main focus for the press-people. Coming up with tons of upfront sketched drawings Chris developed a liveperformance on the interactive videowall in collaboration with M-Box Berlin who were responsible for the software realisation behind the performance tool. An infrared filtered live-tracking device was the solution to create a painting tool with stencils and brushes and a couple of effects for painting in realtime on a giant 80 sqm LED wall. While Chris was acting on a small backprojected Canvas, the instant results appeard on the LED-Wall in realtime.
